About A
Loan and Loving It
This site is owned and operated by eyebyte media. In turn, eyebyte
media is
owned
and operated
by me, John Martin. As a matter of fact, I work in the Web
Department, the Finance Department, the Kitchen, the Lobby, the
Mailroom,
the Front Room, the Back room, the Bathroom (okay, that's probably
too much information), but I don't wash the windows. Don't
get me wrong, I should do the windows, but I just don't have
time!
Hopefully you're starting to get the picture. www.aloanandlovingit.com
is part of eyebyte media, and eyebyte media is just me. Oh sure,
from time to time I try to "puff up and look big"
but at the end of the day, I have to answer to myself as to whether
or
not I got anything done. Not sure if any of this matters
to you, but
I just thought you'd like
to
know who's behind this website.
...It (aloanandlovingit.com) all
started in the summer of 2000. My brother-in-law, who is a Mortgage
Banker, wanted to start his own brokerage and wanted me to set
up a website for him. I said okay and started brainstorming
for ideas. One of the ideas I came up with was this very domain
name. I thought it was a really
cool
play on words, and to this day I still think it is but you be
the judge of that.
My brother-in-law however, just didn't get it,
and in the end I stopped hearing from him about the whole website
idea. He is now back working for "the man" (a very
respectable bank), and I have since quit bugging him about how
cool I thought
the domain name was. Having said that, it didn't dawn
on me until a little while
ago
that
I should
put
my money
where my mouth is, so to speak, and start using my beloved domain
name. So, I started doing a little (a lot) of research. This
site is what came out of that research.
And that, my fellow earthlings, is how it all came
about. Now, I simply hope to show the world that the little guy
(and I use that term loosely 'cause I need to drop a few pounds)
can
inform
the world about getting a loan while avoiding the pitfalls that
may come with that loan. I've been a "first time" everything
when it comes to loans, and back then (uh, I'm kinda long in
the tooth) helpful information was a little hard to come by.
Hopefully you'll find this site helpful and informative when
researching all types of loans. If enough people do, I'll take
my brother-in-law out for a beer,
sit him down and say see... I told you so. Signup for the 7
day e-course and I'll keep you posted.
